GLOBAL COMMUNION SERVICE WITH PASTOR CHRIS FOR THE MONTH OF FEBRUARY

Often times you hear people say that they aren’t perfect. They share the idea that perfection is impossible. The scriptures however tells us that perfection is God’s plan for us. To think otherwise is to say God’s not true.

The Bible says, “be ye perfect…“. There are several persons in the Bible that were recorded as being perfect. For us to apologise about our perfection is to accuse God of a lie.

Our perfection isn’t measured by man’s standards. When Jesus walked the earth, they didn’t think He was perfect. They accused Him of not conforming to the known standards.

Jesus was the manifestation of truth – the word & will of God manifested to us. Everything about Him; God’s will isn’t an act or a thought; God’s love/word isn’t an act; God’s word/will and love is a man – Jesus manifested to us.

The Bible says, “God is love”. Jesus is love. Jesus is God’s love in manifestation. So when you saw/heard Jesus, you saw and heard love. Jesus was the expression of the Father’s person. You are the expression of Jesus (the Father’s person). It is called the word of God.

Think on this – Jesus (who is God) was born a baby like every other and had to grow the normal way; requiring aid through infancy and childhood.

When you were born again, you were born a Spiritual baby. It doesn’t matter your age when you were born again.

The Bible says in 1 Peter 2:2As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

Jesus was subject to His parents. So don’t think on your mistakes. I’m perfect!

Only if you’re perfect will you be able to do perfect things. Like righteousness, it is a result of righteousness in nature (righteousness of God).

If you walk in the Spirit, you won’t do fleshly things but if you walk in the flesh, you can’t do Spiritual things.

Consistency in walking with God is the most natural thing for a Christian who has the Holy Spirit.
MESSAGE FOR THE MONTH

Right in God’s will (in the centre of His plans) is the best place to be.

Ephesians 5:19
Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;

Colossians 3:16
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Isaiah 35:10
And the ransomed of the LORD shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Psalm 67:1-7
God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah. That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah. Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
