Many people confuse receiving the anointing with the baptism of the Holy Spirit. They refer to the experience of the initial infilling of the Holy Spirit as the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

This is not correct. As stated earlier, the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the new birth. It is the immersion into the body of Christ by the Holy Spirit. This is when we are brought into Christ. We are in God.

There is a difference between being in God and God being in us. We are brought into Christ when we are born again. However, we receive the anointing for service when the Holy Spirit comes in to dwell in us. Now, we are not just in Him; He is in us.
Christ can only come into our lives after we have come into Him.
