BURIED WITH CHRIST.
The only reason why we could be buried or raised with Christ is because we were crucified and died with and in him. The bible says;
Therefore, we are BURIED WITH HIM by baptism into death.
Romans 6:4
And in Colossians 2:12, Paul declares;
BURIED WITH HIM in baptism, wherein also ye are RISEN WITH HIM through the faith of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
